Meet the artist

Brooke is a budding Georgia-based creator. Though she’s made art in some form since she could hold a crayon, her speciality is fiber arts– primarily macrame, which she picked up in early 2020. Additionally, she enjoys abstract weaving, hand-lettering, and painting.

In August 2021, Brooke’s fiber art piece, Pterra, placed second in a regional art contest at the Monroe Walton Center for the Arts. This was her first-ever contest entry. In addition, her work has been for sale in a local shop since early 2021, expanding into a second location in late summer.

With an appreciation for all things lovely and peaceful, Brooke draws inspiration from nature, whimsical scenes and stories, and any experience that makes her feel small (in a good way). Her faith and family keep her moving forward and remind her that there is always beauty to be found and created.
